Meeting- Drummond Town Board

Good Evening, :)
I apologize for taking so long to post this. At the meeting, on Thursday night, the Drummond Town Board APPROVED submitting for the Municipal Flood Grant. They overturned their ruling made last month and the Pigeon Lake Association's willingness to help out with the 50% fund match made all the difference in the world. This is the first hurdle. We will find out if the town is awarded the grant in the fall. Wish it was sooner! Lake property owners pledged $4500 with with an additional $1000 coming from the PLA bank account. The company who will be doing the flood mapping, LHB out of Superior, also pledged a generous and very helpful $5000. Thank you very, very much for stepping up to the plate when we needed you most! Fingers crossed that the grant will be awarded to the town. That would open some more avenues for help!  It is so nice that we are working cooperatively with the town. Together we are stronger. I sincerely hope this partnership only grows as tine passes.
